Glock Armorer Certificate - While Custom Gun Finishes was founded in early 2009, Troy has been applying DuraCoat® since 2003. He is a former Marine with combat duty in the Persian Gulf in the early 1990s. He is an active or social member of Beckville Gun Club, Mifflin County Sportsmans Club, Valley View Gun Club, Tulpehocken Rifle and Pistol Club, Seltzer Gun Club, NRA and NRA Business Alliance. He also became a regular with the local Coal Cracker Detachment of the USMC League.
Troy is a graduate of Basic Law Enforcement and previously served as a police officer. He has extensive experience in competitive shooting and a thorough knowledge of firearms and ammunition. He received his electro-mechanical technician (EMT) certificate in 2009/10. He currently operates Custom Gun Finishes as a DuraCoat® Certified Finisher and Authorized Dealer.

Troy and his partner and wife both received certification from TWN Industries in water transfer printing, also known as camo dipping or hydrographic.

Missy Dando helps run the store and attended the DuraCoat® class as an observer. She has a master decorating license from TWN Industries. When it comes to questions about finishes, she can help and guide you in your choice. Missy is actively involved in the USMC Ladies Auxiliary and in the same clubs as Troy. She has worked full-time at Entech Engineering for the past 25 years as an administrative technician/office manager and manages the gun shop on evenings and weekends.
